The 98th Annual God’s Holiness Grove Camp Meeting kicked off in musical style thanks to the melodies of Gospel Bond.
As promised, the group performed a variety of songs, including well known pieces such as “Til the Storm Passes By” and a few of the band’s own melodies.
Sunday’s programming begins with Sunday School classes at 10 a.m. The children will meet at the office A-frame, teens at Pickett Hall and adults at the main tabernacle where the Sunday morning service for all ages kicks off at 11 a.m.
A campus-wide dinner on the grounds will be provided starting at 1:30 p.m. at Pickett Hall. Meat and beverages will be provided. Each family is asked to bring covered dishes and desserts to share.
The evening service, with the Rev. Stephen Wilson and Rev. Ryan Brosious leading, begins at 5:30 p.m.
