Memorial Day weekend drew a number of people to the Central Pennsylvania Wesleyan Campground near New Columbia. Along with a large number of regular campers, the Christian Motorcyclists Association held a picnic and fun events during the weekend, including the 4 Given Riders group out of Mifflintown.
The pool was a hot spot for young campers (despite water temperatures between 73 and 75 degrees), fishing, kayaking, biking, fellowship around campfires and a variety of other activities were enjoyed. Looking ahead, the campground will be hosting a special pig roast picnic on Saturday, June 30. More details will be available soon. Camp meeting will be held July 22-29. More details will be available soon.
