Activities for Camp Meeting 2018 hit the final weekend with a slew of events centered around worship, fellowship and fun.
The Rev. Stephen Smith led a special morning worship for adults including an annointing program. The children continued their ice cream-based exploration of the Bible. The Rev. Donald Grant shared a youth lesson on the temptation of laziness in all things physical and spiritual.
The annual camp association business meeting was held in the afternoon with Lisa Jo Smith and the Rev. Brandon Mestach each elected to three-year terms on the board and Rodney Murphy appointed to a one-year stint to fill in for a former board member who stepped down a year early.
The evening service featured the Rev. Arlie Davis with a lesson from 1 Peter 2 helping to better define our identities as Christians and what we should be doing as born-again Christians.
Sunday services start with 10 am Sunday school sessions for adults, youth and kids. A combined Sunday morning service follows. Dinner on the grounds starts at 1:30 pm. Please bring a covered dish to share and place settings.
The evening wrap up service starts at 5:30 pm with the Rev. Arlie Davis leading the message.
