Dr. Harry F. Wood, former Wesleyan district superintendent with the Chesapeake and PennJersey districts and former general superintendent of the Wesleyan Church, will be the primary speaker at two of the evening services during the 100th annual God’s Holiness Grove Camp Meeting in late July.
He is scheduled to speak on Sunday, July 21, during the 5:30 p.m. service and again on Wednesday, July 24, at the 7 p.m. evening service.
Dr. Wood is married to Alice and they have two married children and six grandchildren.
Dr. Wood has served as pastor in churches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has served as District Superintendent in Chesapeake and PennJersey. He has served The Wesleyan Church as General Superintendent and is now retired.
His assets in ministry have been modeling a love for Jesus Christ and people, visionary leadership, biblical preaching, people development, and building multiculture/multi-racial alliances for ministry.
