Longtime member and featured soloist with the 6-time Grammy award winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers, Cynthia Greene will be a part of this year’s Camp Meeting week. She will perform Saturday night, July 27, and may be able to participate in services throughout the weekend of July 26-28.
For many years, God has given her the opportunity to independently minister in a variety of places. She has toured throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guyana (South America), England, Wales, Russia, The Ukraine, Bermuda, Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica, Taiwan (The Republic of China), Japan, South Korea, Ghana (West Africa) and Scotland.
The ministry of gospel music has taken Cynthia to churches, prisons, the streets and renowned music venues such as Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, The Paramount, Avery Fisher Hall (Lincoln Center), Madison Square Garden, the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center.
She has also sung at Billy Graham Crusades, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Fox and Friends, the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, and the 2013 Inauguration Ceremony of President Barack Obama.
Cynthia gave her life to the Lord in her early teens and she has never regretted it. Jesus Christ has given her life and that more abundantly. Cynthia and her husband, Patrick, have committed their lives and talents to the Lord, and they seek to be totally led by God.
She considers it a great privilege to share the gospel through song. She seeks to encourage Christians in their spiritual walk and emphasize to the world that the only hope for our world is Jesus Christ.
In 2005, Cynthia released her solo CD, “Life’s Lessons.”
