Master schedule for the 2019 God’s Holiness Camp Meeting’s 100th celebration week

The 100th God’s Holiness Grove Camp Meeting will be a special week of celebration of the longstanding history and heritage of the annual family camp experience. The schedule of events looks different than our typical camp meeting. Below is the day-by-day schedule .. click on names or groups for link to more information. We will update with any changes moving forward.

Saturday, July 20

7 p.m. — Special evening concert by Rejoicing Praise. More info here.

 

Sunday, July 21

9:45/10 a.m. — Sunday school classes for adults (worship center), youth (Pickett Hall) and children (camp office)

10:45 a.m. — Sunday morning service including a message by Dr. Harry Wood. For more info on Dr. Wood, click here.

1-4 p.m. — Pool will be open

1:30 p.m. — Special on-site pot luck lunch. Camp provides a meat dish. Everyone encouraged to bring a covered dish to share and place settings.

5:30 p.m. — Evening service including music by David Sheets and Rod Horner ministries and message from Dr. Harry Wood.

 

Monday, July 22

10 a.m. — Morning services for adults (Pickett Hall), youth (worship center) and children (camp office)

Noon to 5 p.m. — Pool will be open

1 p.m. — What Not Shop opens until 3 p.m.

2 p.m. — Youth activity Can You Make It?

Special meal for purchase ($8) at Pickett Hall (preorders encouraged): Pork and Sauerkraut with Mashed Potatoes and Carrots

7 p.m. — Evening service including music by David Sheets and Rod Horner ministries and celebration of camp leadership over the years lead by Dr. David Babb.

After service — Kids night swim, youth game and pizza party

 

Tuesday, July 23

10 a.m. — Morning services for adults (Pickett Hall), youth (worship center) and children (camp office)

Noon to 5 p.m. — Pool will be open

1 p.m. — What Not Shop opens until 3 p.m.

2 p.m. — Youth activity: Launch Pad

Special meal for purchase ($8) at Pickett Hall (preorders encouraged): Tacos, Cheesy Rice and Beans

7 p.m. — Evening service including music by David Sheets and Rod Horner ministries and certain families sharing how camp has impacted them over the years.

After service — Youth swimming and volleyball

 

Wednesday, July 24

8 a.m. — Kids morning swim

10 a.m. — Morning services for adults (Pickett Hall), youth (worship center) and children (camp office)

Noon to 5 p.m. — Pool will be open

1 p.m. — What Not Shop opens until 3 p.m.

2 p.m. — Youth activity: Truck Pull

Special meal for purchase ($8) at Pickett Hall (preorders encouraged): Spaghetti and Meatballs with Garlic Bread and Salad

7 p.m. — Evening service including music by David Sheets and Rod Horner ministries and service by Dr. Harry Wood followed by Pickett Hall dedication to Pickett family

After service — Pickett Hall dedication celebration with cake at Pickett Hall. Youth movie night at worship center

 

Thursday, July 25

10 a.m. — Morning services for adults (Pickett Hall), youth (worship center) and children (camp office)

Noon to 5 p.m. — Pool will be open

1 p.m. — What Not Shop opens until 3 p.m.

2 p.m. — Youth activity: Dart invasion

Special meal for purchase ($8) at Pickett Hall (preorders encouraged): Chicken and Waffles with Mashed Potatoes and Corn

7 p.m. — Evening service including music by David Sheets and Rod Horner ministries and service centering around children and youth ministries, with program by leaders

After service — Kids glow in the dark egg hunt and ice cream social. Youth swimming and volleyball

 

Friday, July 26

10 a.m. — Morning services for adults (Pickett Hall), youth (worship center) and children (camp office)

Noon to 5 p.m. — Pool will be open

1 p.m. — What Not Shop opens until 3 p.m.

2 p.m. — Youth activity: Warrior Run by lake

Special meal for purchase ($8) at Pickett Hall (preorders encouraged): Meatloaf with Mac and Cheese and Stewed Tomatoes

7 p.m. — Paid concert by The Talleys. Tickets include $15 for indoor seating or $10 to sit outside the pavilion in lawn chairs. To purchase tickets or more info, click here.

After service — Kids swim, youth Laser Tag at worship center

 

Saturday, July 27

10 a.m. — Morning annointing service for adults (Pickett Hall). Regular morning service for youth (worship center) and children (camp office)

Noon to 5 p.m. — Pool will be open

1 p.m. — What Not Shop opens until 3 p.m.

1:30 p.m. — Annual camp corporation business meeting at Pickett Hall

2 p.m. — Youth activity: Battle Ball

Special meal for purchase ($8) at Pickett Hall (preorders encouraged): Liver and Onions with Bacon, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans

7 p.m. — Evening service including music by Achording to Dad quartet, special military honors program, music by the Sheets quartet and guests from Brooklyn Tabernacle.

After service — Youth playing game Murder
