A few additional precautions will be taken at the 2020 God’s Holiness Grove camp meeting to be held July 24-26, 2020, to help keep everyone as safe as possible during the event. Some changes you can expect:
- Sanitation stations will be added at various places throughout the campground with hand sanitizer. Everyone is encouraged to clean their hands after each activity.
- Bathrooms will be cleaned every three hours by a team of volunteers using provided cleaning supplies and a checklist. To meet this goal, we are asking for families to sign up to voluntarily help fill our bathroom cleaning schedule. See more and sign up here: https://forms.gle/1jVN5VEsQn7Pop6u7
- Everyone is encouraged to bring their own chairs to the services at the worship center. If chairs are needed, a stack of freshly sanitized chairs will be available for use and recleaned after each service.
- Youth and children ministries will avoid using items for activities and worship that can not be cleaned properly between usage (board and card games, etc.)
- The What-Not Shop will be open regularly scheduled hours, but we request that only two children at a time be in the shop, and that they avoid handling items they don’t plan to purchase.
- People will be encouraged to bring their own chairs to supervise kids at the pool. There will be wipes available for those using plastic chairs at the pool. Numbers of people in the pool will be monitored and families are encouraged to monitor to keep pool from getting overcrowded. If needed, a volunteer may be recruited to direct pool traffic to minimize congestion. We also will be removing shared pool toys (pool noodles, etc.) for the three days of camp meeting.
- The rec/game room in the basement of the A-frame building will be closed and locked throughout the weekend.
